Jeremy Tinucci – President

Jeremy is a fourth-year undergraduate student seeking an IMBD in Chemical Engineering and Colloids, Polymers, and Surfaces. Completing several years of nanoparticle research as well as two R&D internships with Reckitt Benckiser has given him valuable laboratory experience. In his free time he likes playing water polo.


Ishani Tripathy – Vice President

Ishani is a fourth year undergraduate student majoring in Chemical Engineering. She is the current president of ChemE car and is passionate about her research with interfacial emulsification dynamics on campus. She also loves to build buggy and booth with Fringe. Her favorite hobbies are cooking and meeting new people!


Lance Miller – Treasurer

Lance is a sophomore pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Operations and Supply Chain Management. He is an actor in Scotch’N’Soda’s mainstage productions and a writer for Tisbert Sketch Comedy, a Bass 2 in the D Flat Singers, and a member of Carnegie Mellon’s Solar Splash team, specializing in hull construction.


Katie Parsons – Secretary, Junior Class Rep

Katie is a third-year undergraduate studying Chemical Engineering with an additional major in Biomedical Engineering and plans on attending medical school after graduation. She is a diver for CMU Varsity Swimming and Diving, an EMT for CMU EMS, and is involved in cardiomyocyte regeneration research. For fun, Katie enjoys exercising and finding new food spots!


Frank Wang – Industrial Liaison

Frank is a junior who’s passionate about helping students integrate professionalism with academics. Aside from his previous research experience in structure-based PDE selective inhibitors design and thermoresponsive nanoemulsions, he’s involved with the entrepreneurship community and led a team in the 2020 Roland Berger Case Competition. In his free time he enjoys DJing, cooking, and working out.


Julia Lui – Senior Class Rep

Julia is a 4th year undergraduate studying Chemical Engineering with a minor in Environmental Studies and Sustainability. On campus, she is a member of the Engineering Student Council and involved in solar fuel research and student government. Outside of classes, she enjoys rock climbing, baking and exploring Pittsburgh!


Christian Deem – Sophomore Class Rep

Christian is a sophomore ChemE at CMU. In conjunction with Ruby Perez-Fry, he presents the interests and concerns of sophomore ChemE students to the AIChE board. Christian also works to promote AIChE events for the sophomore class.


Ruby Perez-Fry – Sophomore Class Rep

Ruby is a sophomore from El Paso, Texas studying Chemical Engineering with a minor in Hispanic Studies. She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Society of Women Engineers, and Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. Outside of school, she enjoys listening to music, cooking, playing the cello, and hanging out with friends!
